Описание: Making the best measurement you can requires that you understand the limitations of your instrument's design. With that in mind, there are many considerations that go into the choice of instrument for use in your measurements. This presentation will examine some of the fundamental designs considerations that make the Cary instrument family unique in uv-is-nir measurements. How can you make (and believe) measures which go as high as 10 OD in the visible region? How is it possible to make absolute specular reflectance measure at almost any angle? How is it possible to make fast scans of samples and not see a shift in peak wavength or reduction in the intensity of the peak? These and addition attributes of the Cary family of instruments will be discussed and shown in a practical demonstration.
