Описание: The following presentation will focus on the analysis of wear metals in oil using ASTM D5185. This includes the analysis of 22 analytes including the wear metals and additives in various types of lubricants – mainly new and used engine oils. This presentation will also include ICP setup, standard and sample preparation and analysis recommendations. Oxygen addition will also be discussed as a way to reduce carbon build up and required maintenance.
