Описание: When developing an analytical HPLC method, our goal is the identification and quantitation of a compound of interest. To achieve this goal we optimize parameters like baseline resolution, peak symmetry and peak width. But in preparative HPLC method development, our goal is the separation and isolation of a valuable compound. The analytical chromatographic parameters become less important—throughput, yield and purity of the compound are the more important parameters for preparative HPLC. In this webinar, we will discuss the process of scaling up from an analytical to a preparative HPLC method. We will look at some key parameters and calculations as well as column and instrumentation considerations.
