FTIR Imaging Analysis Development for Cancer Tissue Segmentation in Clinical Research

Описание: Spectral HistoPathology is a method that allows for pre-qualification of tissue samples used in discovery and validation cancer research studies using spatially resolved molecular spectroscopy. FTIR imaging is an ideal technique for the spatial analysis of heterogeneous tissue samples in using the chemical spectra to differentiate among cell types. FTIR microscopy provides an automated, label-free, non-destructive and objective tissue segmentation solution primarily for the purpose of “upstream omic” tissue qualification. Relying on chemical signatures rather than contrast from exogenous dyes and stains, infrared chemical imaging has the potential to revolutionize how histopathology analysis is performed for cancer research.
