Описание: All UV/Vis spectrophotometers require a light source. Previously, UV-Vis spectrophotometer had two continuum lamps, a deuterium lamp(D2) for the Uv range and a tungsten (Tu) lamp for the visible range. More recently, a single pulsed Xenon (Xe) lamp has replaced the aforementioned lamps. This has led to greater capabilities but not all Xe lamps are the same. The common advantages versus the D2 and Tu technical differences will be discussed and what applications they affect. These differences will include pulse flash rate, photobleaching, room light immunity, response time, data collection rate, lamp profile, and scan speed.
